Sky Mall is a family-friendly destination for entertainment, leisure and shopping, situated on Lekki-Epe Expressway in the Sangotedo axis of Lagos. It is home to various brands and businesses offering top quality goods and services on a daily basis. Sky Mall is divided into two sections: the main Shopping mall for shopping and recreation, and the Extension section which offers office spaces. The mall boasts an opulent decor and wide of range of shops, office spaces, warehouses, top-notch restaurants, exclusive VIP lounges, cinemas, and a terrace bar.

We provide easy movements from the ground floor to the top floor of the mall by stationing two elevators and three escalators within the shopping mall. There is also a cargo lift that runs from the ground floor to the third floor at the Extension part of the mall. We provide our tenants with an official parking lot strictly for business operators in the mall, and also we provide a well-secured car park for customers which can can accommodate more than 300 cars.

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Sangotedo, Eti-Osa - Lagos

Job Summary

  • An Account Officer in a Nigerian hospitality company (hotels, restaurants, Cinema, filmhouse, game arcade) manages daily financial transactions, including revenue reconciliation (POS, cash), accounts payable / receivable, inventory monitoring, and tax compliance.
  • They ensure accurate record-keeping, prevent revenue leakage, and prepare financial reports to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Revenue & Cash Management: Reconcile daily sales from bars, kitchens, and front offices (POS systems and cash reports) to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain daily financial records and update ledgers, often using accounting software.
  • Accounts Payable / Receivable: Manage vendor payments and follow up on overdue customer invoices.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory and stock records for purchases and usage in hospitality operations.
  • Compliance and Reporting:Ensure timely filing of taxes (VAT, WHT, PAYE) and assist with monthly/annual financial reports.
  • Audit & Control: Perform periodic internal audits (cash, stock) to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Other duties assigned by the superior.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
