Job Summary
- The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations and overall management of Hilwa Heights Luxury Apartments & Villas to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across all departments.
- The role requires managing staff, coordinating operational activities, maintaining luxury hospitality standards, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.
- The Operations Manager will supervise all operational units, including front desk, housekeeping, kitchen staff, maintenance, security, drivers, gardeners, and facility support teams.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all apartments are guest-ready, facilities are fully functional, operational processes run efficiently, and staff maintain professionalism and accountability.
- This position requires a highly organised, proactive, and disciplined individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication ability, operational intelligence, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
- The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Facility Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of all apartments and facility areas.
- Ensure apartments, guest areas, and facilities meet luxury hospitality standards at all times.
- Coordinate all departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Conduct regular inspections of apartments, facilities, equipment, and operational areas.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of all facilities and utilities.
- Monitor inventory levels, operational supplies, and procurement needs.
- Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers when necessary.
Staff Supervision and Coordination:
- Supervise front desk, housekeeping, kitchen staff, maintenance personnel, security officers, drivers, and gardeners.
- Prepare staff schedules and coordinate shift operations.
- Monitor staff punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Ensure staff compliance with operational procedures and company standards.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to all operational staff.
- Address operational issues and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
Guest Experience and Hospitality Management:
- Ensure guests receive excellent customer service and hospitality experiences.
- Handle guest complaints, escalations, and special requests professionally.
- Ensure quick resolution of operational and guest-related issues.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
- Maintain a professional, calm, and service-oriented environment within the facility.
Reporting and Administrative Duties:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain records relating to operations, maintenance, inventory, and staffing.
- Monitor operational costs and support budget management.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of incidents or operational concerns.
- Support management with operational planning and decision-making.
Performance Expectations
- Smooth coordination of all operational departments.
- High standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and facility management.
- Effective supervision and accountability of staff.
- Positive guest experiences and satisfaction levels.
- Timely resolution of operational and facility-related issues.
- Efficient reporting, communication, and operational planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in hospitality operations, hotel management, luxury apartments, or Airbnb management.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is required.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and customer service standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Female preferred.
- Single status preferred.
- Age range: 25 – 36 years.
- Must reside within reasonable proximity to Maitama including Wuse, Wuye, Life Camp, Kado, or Lugbe.
- Candidates residing in distant outskirts will not be considered.
- Must be flexible with work schedules and operational demands.
