They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Lagos 

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.
  • Prepare employment documentation including offer letters and contracts.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate records.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee enquiries and HR-related concerns.
  • Support the resolution of workplace issues in line with company policy.
  • Promote positive employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in disciplinary and grievance processes as required.

Performance Management:

  • Support the implementation of performance management processes.
  • Monitor appraisal timelines and documentation.
  • Assist managers in tracking employee performance improvement plans.

HR Administration & Records:

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR reports, letters, and other documentation.
  • Monitor staff attendance, leave records, and other HR metrics.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of employee information.

Training & Development:

  • Coordinate staff training programmes and learning initiatives.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate participation.
  • Support organisational development and employee capacity-building initiatives.

Payroll & Benefits Support:

  • Support payroll preparation by providing accurate employee data.
  • Assist with administration of employee benefits and statutory remittances.
  • Monitor probation confirmations, promotions, and salary adjustments.

Policy Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and labour regulations.
  • Support the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote adherence to workplace ethics and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, etc.) is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 2 - 4 years relevant HR experience.
  • Experience in a school or structured organisation is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of HR principles and labour regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
