The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the Institutions established by the Federal Govemment of Nigeria in 2014. It is located in Ukana, Km 5, Ikot Ekpene-Abak Road in Ess Essien Udim Local Govemment Area, Akwa Ibom State. The Federal Polytechnics (Amendment) Act 2019 gives legal backing to the establishment of the Institution. It operates on two Campuses, Main and the Annex with five (5) Schools. All the Academic Programmes of the Polytechnic have been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Institution pride itself on modern infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree/equivalent professional qualifications in the relevant fields from recognized institutions with at least 3 years of cognate experience or 
• A good first degree or equivalent professional qualifications with at least 6 years relevant post-qualification teaching /research experience or industrial experience.
• Must have been an Assistant Lecturer in the last 3 years.
• Two Conference/ Seminar papers and one journal article
• Membership of relevant professional bodies as appropriate.

Salary Grade
CONPCASS 5.
