Chief Lecturer, Electrical / Electronic Tech (Instrumentation & Control Option) at Federal Polytechnic, Ukana

The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the Institutions established by the Federal Govemment of Nigeria in 2014. It is located in Ukana, Km 5, Ikot Ekpene-Abak Road in Ess Essien Udim Local Govemment Area, Akwa Ibom State. The Federal Polytechnics (Amendment) Act 2019 gives legal backing to the establishment of the Institution. It operates on two Campuses, Main and the Annex with five (5) Schools. All the Academic Programmes of the Polytechnic have been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Institution pride itself on modern infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.

Requirements

• PhD in the relevant fields from recognized Institutions with at least 15 years cognate experience or Master's Degree in the relevant fields from recognized Institutions with at least 18 years cognate experience.
• In addition to the requirement above, candidates should have demonstrated proven academic and administrative leadership.
• Must have served as a Principal Lecturer for at least three (3) years.
• Must have four papers/articles in reputable Journals, five (5) Book Chapters or two (2) Standard Textbooks since last promotion.
• In addition to the above, candidates should have five papers read at the National/International Conference/Seminars.
• Evidence of community service.
• Membership of relevant Professional Bodies is mandatory.

Salary Grade
CONPCASS 9.

Condition of Service
The Condition of Service is applicable as in all Federal Polytechnics per the guidelines of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Federal Government. This position is pensionable with allowances as approved.
