Lecturer I, Estate Management at Federal Polytechnic, Ukana

The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the Institutions established by the Federal Govemment of Nigeria in 2014. It is located in Ukana, Km 5, Ikot Ekpene-Abak Road in Ess Essien Udim Local Govemment Area, Akwa Ibom State. The Federal Polytechnics (Amendment) Act 2019 gives legal backing to the establishment of the Institution. It operates on two Campuses, Main and the Annex with five (5) Schools. All the Academic Programmes of the Polytechnic have been accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). The Institution pride itself on modern infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.

Requirements

• PhD in the relevant fields from recognized Institutions with at least 3 years teaching / research and industrial experience, or
• Master’s Degree / equivalent professional qualifications in the relevant fields from recognized Institutions of higher learning with at least 5 years of teaching/research experience in an Institution of higher learning.
• A good First Degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning or equivalent professional qualification (s) in relevant fields with at least 7 years relevant post-qualification teaching/research experience in an Institution of higher learning.
• Must have been a Lecturer II in the last 3 years.
• Five Conference / Seminar papers, two Journal Articles or one (1) chapter contribution in standard Textbook.
• Membership of relevant Professional Bodies as appropriate.

Salary Grade
CONPCASS 6.

Condition of Service
The Condition of Service is applicable as in all Federal Polytechnics per the guidelines of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Federal Government. This position is pensionable with allowances as approved.
