We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager - FeedMill Unit

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Production Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the feedmill unit, ensuring efficient production processes, quality control, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate feed production activities in the feedmill.
• Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials and production resources.
• Monitor feed quality and ensure compliance with formulation specifications.
• Possess basic knowledge of poultry feed formulation and feed ingredients.
• Operate, monitor, and supervise the use of feedmill machines and equipment.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and proper handling of production machinery.
• Coordinate production staff and ensure operational discipline.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with management to achieve production targets and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural Engineering, Production Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in feedmill production or agro-allied manufacturing operations.
• Basic knowledge of poultry feed formulation is mandatory.
• Good understanding of feedmill machinery and production equipment.
• Strong leadership, technical, and administrative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Added Advantage:

• Experience in commercial poultry or livestock feed production.
• Technical troubleshooting knowledge of feedmill equipment.
