We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fiber Engineer

Location: Ajah, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain fiber optic networks, including backbone, metro, and last-mile connections.
• Perform fiber splicing, termination, and patching in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, power meters, and light sources to ensure signal integrity and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fiber faults, outages, and performance degradation promptly.
• Support network rollout projects, upgrades, and expansions.
• Interpret network diagrams, fiber route maps, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and record-keeping of fiber routes and connections.
• Collaborate with IP engineers, field technicians, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end network functionality.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company engineering procedures.
• Provide technical support during customer installations and service escalations.
