Job Title: Fleet Manager
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- To assist in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
- To ensure the safe operations of company vehicles and services.
- To develop efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.
- To find ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
- To adopt defensive driving techniques while using company vehicles.
- To maintain adequate time schedule on all movements.
- Check vehicle paper regularly and renew when due for renewal.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- To schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Detect and minimize or eliminate safety hazards.
- Inspects vehicle for safety, oil, water and tyre before each departure.
- To inform the company of the position of the vehicle/motorcycle from time to time.
- Must be available to work on weekend.
- Any other task as assigned from time to time.
