Description
- Spesa Superstore is seeking an experienced and creative Bakery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bakery section.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing bakery production, supervising staff, maintaining product quality, ensuring hygiene standards, and driving sales through excellent customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the bakery department
- Supervise bakers and bakery assistants to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure consistent production of high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked products
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ingredient procurement
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Develop production schedules to meet customer demand
- Minimize wastage and ensure cost-effective operations
- Monitor product presentation and freshness
- Handle customer feedback and special bakery requests
- Train and motivate bakery staff for improved productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND qualification in any related field
- Proven experience as a Bakery Manager or in a supervisory bakery role
- Strong knowledge of bakery production and food safety standards
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail in bakery presentation and operations.
