We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Transaction Management:
- Receive and process cash, POS, and transfer payments from customers
- Accurately issue receipts and confirm all payments before releasing goods
- Handle high-volume daily transactions efficiently
Bank & Payment Reconciliation:
- Confirm and track bank transfers and inflows
- Cross-check payments against system records
- Escalate any discrepancies or delayed confirmations
Cash Handling & Control:
- Prepare and organize daily cash deposits for the bank
- Ensure proper custody and security of all cash at all times
- Maintain an organized cash desk and transaction records
Record Keeping & System Usage:
- Record all sales and expenses using the company’s system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction logs
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
End-of-Day (EOD) Reconciliation:
- Perform daily account balancing.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
