Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • FITC is seeking to engage a highly experienced, transformative, innovative, and technology-driven Operations Manager to lead and manage end-to-end operational activities across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, process efficiency, service delivery optimization, governance compliance, and institutional sustainability across critical operational functions.
  • This role requires a commercially minded and execution-focused professional with strong experience within the Financial Services Sector or Health Management Organizations (HMO).

Core Focus Areas & Key Responsibilities
Facility Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance, safety, and optimal functionality of all facilities and infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
  • Drive workplace efficiency and operational sustainability initiatives

Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Manage procurement planning, sourcing, and vendor selection processes
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls
  • Drive cost optimization and vendor performance management

Fleet & Logistics Management:

  • Oversee fleet operations, vehicle utilization, maintenance, and logistics coordination
  • Monitor transportation efficiency and operational risk management
  • Ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance

Inventory & Store Management:

  • Manage inventory control systems and store operations
  • Ensure proper asset tracking, stock reconciliation, and reporting
  • Minimize wastage, losses, and inventory risks

Asset & Utility Management:

  • Coordinate asset lifecycle management and utility optimization
  • Maintain accurate asset registers and utilization reports
  • Drive cost efficiency and operational continuity initiatives

Protocol & Operational Coordination:

  • Coordinate protocol activities, official engagements, and operational logistics
  • Support seamless execution of institutional activities and stakeholder engagements
  • Ensure high service delivery standards and operational responsiveness

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 9 years post-NYSC progressive experience in Operations Management
  • Prior experience within the Financial Services Sector or HMO industry is highly preferred
