Job Title: Finance Specialist

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our growing team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation.
  • Monitor daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments on financial matters.
  • Support audits and provide necessary financial information when required.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 1–3 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, a good understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
