Job Summary
- We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable IT Sales Associate to help promote and sell our IT products and services.
- Your duties will include learning the features of our products, understanding customers’ IT needs, and showing our solutions to potential clients.
- You will not be required to do field marketing, but if a customer or potential client requests a visit, you will be expected to attend.
Key Responsibilities
- Be comfortable with initiating cold calls.
- Sell IT solutions including hardware, software, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and managed services.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to maintain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
- Be comfortable with initiating cold calls.
- Engage in both outbound and inbound customer engagement.
- Participate adequately in team activities and training.
- Follow up with different support teams to ensure resolution of customers challenges and provide timely feedback to customers.
- Appropriately qualify leads sent from other internal units for further development and conversion.
- Preparation of Proposal, bids and quotes.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction working with customers
- Maintain and update customer contact records.
- Identify/manage and escalate/solve conflicts with clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Any other official task that may be assigned by Line Manager for the progress of the team.
- Manage company’s social media accounts and website.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing or similar qualification.
- Knowledge of ICT solutions like networking, security, data center, cloud, virtualization
- Ability to explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities.
- The purpose of this job is to create long-term relationships with the portfolio of assigned customers.
- The role serves to understand the customer’s demands, plan on how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result.
- Applicants must reside in or around Surulere.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them successfully.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Benefits
- Salary Range: Salary: N100,000 - N120,000 monthly
- Other Benefits: Performance Bonus.
