Amala Ibadan was founded on a simple yet powerful premise: that traditional and contemporary Nigerian meals should be accessible, high-quality, and served in a professional environment. Since our inception, we have transitioned from a single-location concept to a multi-outlet enterprise, standardizing the art of local cooking to meet corporate-level service benchmarks.

Amala Ibadan is a fast-growing Quick Service Restaurant chain celebrating Nigerian cuisine, with eight outlets across Lagos and Ogun States and a daily meal count of over 3,000. We are expanding rapidly, with at least 50% growth in our outlet count this year, and we are looking for experienced, driven individuals to join our team as Pacesetters.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Restaurant Executive

Locations: Lagos and Sango & Ijoko - Ogun

Role Overview

  • The Restaurant Executive will be at the centre of daily operations, leading a team, maintaining our standards, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery across the outlet.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage restaurant staff, fostering a high-performance culture and motivating the team to deliver their best consistently.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, minimise waste, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Analyse financial performance metrics and actively drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, QSR standards, health and safety regulations, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and making sound decisions under pressure.

Requirements

  • Age: 26 to 40 years.
  • Candidates must reside in Sango, Ijoko, or its immediate environs.
  • Minimum HND in Management, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline, with experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a leadership or operations management role within a Quick Service Restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuinely customer-focused attitude.
  • Solid working knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety, financial management, and health regulations.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (particularly Google Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
