Job Title: QA / QC Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes across mechanical and electrical projects.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that all installations, materials, workmanship, and project activities comply with approved specifications, industry standards, client requirements, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and quality documentation for projects.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on mechanical and electrical installations.
• Ensure all materials and equipment delivered to site meet required specifications and standards.
• Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal audits, client inspections, and project quality meetings.
• Monitor calibration of testing and measuring equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in QA/QC within a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems, installations, and commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Professional certifications in QA/QC or HSE will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of construction and engineering project workflows.
• Leadership and coordination skills.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
