Job Summary

• The Treasury Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s daily treasury operations, cash flow activities, banking transactions, and financial reporting support.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in treasury and banking operations within manufacturing environments, with the ability to ensure efficient cash management, timely payments, and compliance with financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily cash flow positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational activities
• Prepare and process bank transactions including transfers, payments, deposits, and reconciliations
• Manage all treasury-related documentation and banking relationships
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports for management review
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, statutory payments, salaries, and other financial obligations
• Monitor inflows and outflows across company bank accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items promptly
• Support working capital management and optimize cash utilization
• Maintain accurate records of all treasury transactions and financial activities
• Liaise with banks regarding account operations, transfers, facilities, and other treasury matters
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and banking procedures
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
• Assist in foreign exchange transactions and monitoring where applicable
• Monitor loan repayments, interest schedules, and other financial obligations
• Prepare treasury schedules and documentation required for internal and external audits
• Support continuous improvement of treasury processes and reporting systems.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• ICAN, ACCA, or related professional certification will be an added advantage

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in treasury or finance operations within manufacturing companies
• Strong understanding of treasury management, banking operations, and cash flow management
• Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software
• Good knowledge of financial controls and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial analysis functions
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
