Job Title: Finance Supervisor

Description

• We are recruiting for the position of a Finance Supervisor with years of relevant work experience particularly in the Logistics Industry, E-commerce business (Konga, Jumia etc) or one of the Big 4s.
• The Finance Supervisor will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support cost control across logistics and warehouse operations. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments such as logistics or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily financial operations including invoicing, payments, and reconciliation
• Monitor and control operational costs across departments (warehouse, operations, sales)
• Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve cost efficiency
• Investigate discrepancies and financial irregularities
• Support internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage
• 5–6 years’ experience in finance, preferably in Logistics, Courier, Big 4, or e-commerce (e.g., Jumia, Konga)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and cost control
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and integrity
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
