Job Title: Process Control and Compliance Officer

Job Summary

Your Role

  • As a Control Officer, you will be the guardian of our operational integrity—ensuring processes are followed, risks are minimized, and our branches operate at peak efficiency.
  • You’ll work closely with teams across the institution to uphold our standards and safeguard our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular checks on branch operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor loan disbursements, repayments, and documentation for accuracy.
  • Identify and report operational risks, fraud, or irregularities promptly.
  • Verify cash management processes, inventory, and financial records.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure branches comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Experience in internal control, audit, or compliance—preferably in microfinance or banking.
  • Strong attention to detail and investigative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to branch locations.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Integrity, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.
