We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • Support the Business Development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within oil and gas servicing and related sectors through research and outreach.
  • Assist in preparing tenders, bids, technical-commercial proposals, reports, contract reviews and prequalification documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management “CRM” system to ensure accurate tracking of leads and client interactions.
  • Coordinate meetings, technical presentations and follow up on action items, ensuring timely communication between team members and clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Maintain client databases, service pipelines, and follow up on leads and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards (API, ASME, ISO), and HSE policies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a business development role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Understanding of business development processes and strategies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills.
