Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Reports To: GM, Human Resources
Sector: FMCG
Role Summary
- The HR Business Partner will partner with the Manufacturing, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to drive people strategies that support business performance, workforce capability, employee engagement, and operational excellence across plant and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with operational goals.
- Drive workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support recruitment and deployment of technical, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain talent.
- Drive performance management processes and identify capability development needs across teams.
- Partner with HR teams to ensure seamless execution of onboarding, employee movements, payroll inputs, and other HR processes.
- Support culture-building, employee engagement, and change management initiatives across operational sites.
- Ensure HR data accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across manufacturing locations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related fields
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
- 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 6 years supporting manufacturing, technical, or supply chain operations.
- Strong experience with fleet management.
- Solid commercial experience managing HR processes in a plant settingamongst other HR responsibilities
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be fluent speaking Hausa language.
