Above Lifestyle is a premium service restaurant, lounge and club located in Lekki, Ikotun and Abuja.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

• We are looking for a dependable Dispatch Rider to handle daily deliveries of food items using a company motorcycle.
• The dispatch rider will be responsible for transporting deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• The ideal candidate is experienced in motorcycle operations within Lagos mainland, knows the road networks well, and can manage multiple delivery stops efficiently.
• They must be safety-conscious, honest, and able to handle items with care.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver food to goods to customers within the mainland.
• Plan daily delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery timelines.
• Ensure all items are handled carefully and delivered in good condition.
• Maintain the company motorcycle in clean, roadworthy condition with daily checks.
• Communicate delivery status updates to the operations team throughout the day.
• Comply with traffic rules and wear appropriate safety gear (helmet, reflective vest) at all times.

Requirements

• SSCE/WAEC certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dispatch rider or motorcycle courier.
• Valid rider's permit or motorcycle licence.
• Excellent knowledge of city roads, shortcuts, and landmarks in the operational area.
• Ability to use Google Maps or similar navigation tools on a smartphone.
• Honest, punctual, and physically fit for daily riding.
• Good communication skills and a polite, professional attitude.
• Basic motorcycle maintenance skills (chain adjustment, oil checks, tyre pressure).
