Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Summary

• The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance. 
• The role requires strong expertise in fintech operations, digital financial services, and regulatory frameworks to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth.
• Candidate must have worked in a financial company or working a financial company or fintech company in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, revenue streams, and expenditure to ensure financial stability
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards
• Oversee financial audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives
• Support product pricing, loan portfolio analysis, and profitability assessment
• Collaborate with operations and tech teams to improve financial systems and automation
• Supervise accounting functions including payables, receivables, and payroll
• Provide financial insights to guide executive decision-making

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CFA) is highly preferred
• 5–8 years of experience in finance, preferably within fintech or financial services
• Strong knowledge of digital lending, payments, or financial technology operations
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of financial regulations in Nigeria.
