About the Role

• We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company in Lagos.
• They are seeking a Personnel Manager to lead HR and Industrial Relations operations at their plant near Mile
• You’ll ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, manage employee relations, and act as the key liaison between plant staff, management, and external regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage plant HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, attendance, discipline, exits
• Handle grievances, disciplinary cases, and union negotiations
• Ensure compliance with labor law, factory act, and statutory requirements
• Maintain HR records, contracts, and support audits
• Prepare HR reports and support training programs for plant staff

Requirements

• BSc Degree / HND in HR, Law, Industrial Relations, or related field
• 3–7 years in HR / IR experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor law and compliance
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and HR software
• Excellent liaison, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N350,000 - N450,000 monthly.
