Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our hospitality business.
• The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, monitor financial transactions, prepare reports, manage payroll and vendor payments, and ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial procedures. Experience within the hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or events industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Reconcile POS sales with cash, transfers, and bank deposits.
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements.

Cost Control & Inventory:

• Monitor food, beverage, and operational costs.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation and stock audits.
• Track wastage, spoilage, and cost variances.
• Support pricing analysis and profitability reviews.
• Implement cost-control measures to improve operational efficiency.

Payroll & Vendor Management:

• Process staff payroll, overtime, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
• Manage supplier invoices and vendor reconciliations.
• Ensure timely payment of vendors and operational expenses.

Auditing & Compliance:

• Conduct periodic internal audits and financial checks.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
• Support tax filings, VAT remittance, and statutory compliance.
• Assist during external audits and regulatory reviews.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare budget reports and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Monitor key financial indicators including revenue, food cost percentage, and labor cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• 3–5 years accounting experience within the hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or events industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
