We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Compliance and Internal Control Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Assist in conducting internal control reviews and compliance checks.
- Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare compliance and internal control reports.
- Support risk assessment and audit activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to approved processes.
- Assist in investigating compliance breaches and operational irregularities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 2–4 years relevant experience in Compliance, Internal Control, Audit, or Risk Management.
- Experience in banking or financial services is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal control principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
