Currently, our operations span across 17 locations in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria, with rapid expansion plans to penetrate more locations in the short to medium term.

We are recruiting to fill position below:

Job Title: Junior Farm Products Purchaser

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Responsibilities

•  Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
• Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
• Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supplies, and price options
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Ensure that the products and supplies are of high quality
• Create and maintain an inventory of all incoming and current supplies
• Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future  development
• Working with team members and the Procurement Manager to complete duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically focused on farm products purchasing
• A maximum of a National Diploma is required.
• Competency in using the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
• Good organization and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team and alone as the activity requires.
• Excellent communication skills
• High standard of written English, skilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Strong document preparation skills.
• Must be able to work in Lagos.
