We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Customer Service Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Customer Service Officer is the primary point of contact between our organisationand its customers.
  • The role holder is responsible for providing professional, responsive, and solution-oriented service to all customers — in person, by telephone, and across digital channels.
  • This role is central to building customer loyalty, resolving complaints efficiently, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects the brand values of our organisation.

Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:

  • Attend to customer enquiries promptly and professionally across all channels — walk-in, telephone, email, and social media.
  • Provide accurate product and service information to customers and address questions clearly and courteously.

Complaint Handling & Resolution:

  • Receive, log, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex complaints to the appropriate line manager within agreed timelines.

Order & Transaction Support:

  • Support customers through order placement, processing, and delivery tracking where applicable.
  • Liaise with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance) to resolve order-related issues.

Records & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and complaint logs.
  • Generate weekly summaries of customer feedback, recurring issues, and resolution outcomes for management review.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience.
  • Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews as required.

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum of OND/HND or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, front desk, or client-facing role.
  • Experience in the food, retail, or hospitality industry is an advantage.
