We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The General Manager isresponsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and translating the vision of the Chief Executive Officer into measurable results.
• The role holder will provide strategic direction to all departments, manage cross-functional teams, and uphold the highest standards of performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement annual operational plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand revenue streams and strengthen market position.

Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Set clear performance targets for departmental heads and monitor progress against agreed KPIs.

Financial Oversight:

• Work with the Finance team to manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resource allocation.
• Review financial reports and provide management with actionable insights for decision-making.

People Management:

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance guidance to team leads and managers.
• Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.

Customer & Quality Assurance:

• Maintain a strong customer-centric culture across all business units.
• Oversee service quality standards and ensure prompt resolution of escalated complaints.

Qualification & Experience
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing multi-functional teams and delivering measurable business results.
• Experience in a food, FMCG, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
