We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for staff, materials, and official assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, visitors, and materials to designated locations
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery assignments
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicle(s)
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Ensure vehicle documents, licenses, and permits are valid and up to date
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, charging schedules, and vehicle maintenance
• Monitor battery levels and ensure proper charging of electric vehicles
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required
• Report accidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of ND/OND qualification with 3–5 years proven driving experience, including experience operating electric vehicles (mandatory)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Good knowledge of Abuja roads and interstate routes
• Ability to operate manual, automatic, and electric vehicles
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Familiarity with electric vehicle charging and battery management
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism
• The ideal candidate must have proven driving experience, including experience driving electric vehicles, and a good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes within and outside Abuja.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving company or official vehicles
• Defensive driving certification is an added advantage
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
• Physically fit and able to handle long-distance driving
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
