We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Worker

Location: Maryland / Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our office, production, and storage areas.
• The successful candidate will ensure that all workspaces meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling - Moving kegs of oil into the factory and out for customers who walk in or for waybill purposes.
• Basic Assembly - Assisting with simple manual tasks, like packing products into crates, containers, and cartons.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Deep cleaning i.e scrubbing floors, walls, and overhead fixtures using an industrial floor bucket.
• Machine Sanitization - wiping down equipment and often using specific chemical agents like hypo and other cleaning ingredients.
• Hazard Removal - Promptly cleaning spills (oil, water or chemicals) to prevent "slip and trip" accidents.
• Facility Upkeep - Maintaining common areas like restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, etc to a high standard of hygiene.
• Equipment Cleaning like drums, kegs, bowls and storage containers and the like.
• Ability to work without supervision and take instructions from senior staff or supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE/OND preferred.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks.
• Honest, punctual, and responsible.
• Good personal hygiene and positive attitude.

Experience

• 0–2 years of cleaning experience is an added advantage.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
