The management team has a wealth of experience in engineering, construction, and maintenance services, having previously managed and supervised many onshore and offshore facilities for major oil companies in Nigeria, which led to the name “Megashore.” Although recently established, Megashore Oilfield Services Limited is poised to compete favorably with other companies both locally and internationally in the provision of quality products and services to the oil and gas industry.

We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Well Drilling Engineer

Location: Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Functions

• Lead the offshore completions team during execution of the work scope on the rig
• Mentor junior staff and provide them with the necessary skills to carry out completion and workover activities safely and proficiently
• Ensure equipment is in place and inspected prior to job execution
• Ensure equipment is ordered to the right on time with sufficient details to avoid delays
• Report on progress and participate in regular challenge sessions to ensure well design are fit for purpose in COMPANI’S environment
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to client HSE standards
• Carry out well completions, workovers and well in accordance with COMPANY HSE-Management system and Well Delivery HSE Plan
• Monitor and report on completion and workover operations progress against objectives and key performance indicators. Ensure, in cooperation with Senior Completions Engineer, that the wells documentation is live and up to date.
• Assist I the supervisor of Well Intervention field operations inclusive of Wireline Well head maintenance, Well integrity and Slickline field operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences
• Minimum of 10 years Well Engineering experience with at least 10 years in deepwater completions supervisor
• CWI Round 1 and Round II or equivalent trade test and IWCF
• Experience in well completions design and programming and the application of DCAF
• T-BOSIET Certification
• Good working knowledge and experience with the standard suite of well engineering software including (A) WellCat (B) Prosper (C EDM (D) Well Plan € Stress Check or equivalent.
