We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Geophysics QA / QC Cat 1 Personnel

Location: Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Job Functions

• Perform onboard processing QC such as first break positioning Qc, Drift correction geophone rotation QC
• Perform Seismic Acquisition Model (Source signature Model) far field signature drop our modelling etc
• Coordinate manage and communicate with OIM for PTW on Close Pass and SIMOPS operations at FPSO, SPM and other seismic operation interaction with other field activities
• Perform seismic startup audit inspection
• Trouble shoot Gun attribute (Pressure, air leakage, gun depth, trimming error, Centre of Source (COS) and sub array separations, shot time intervals vessel spread, positioning QC for inline and Line deployment / Retrieval errors
• Near field Hydrophone signature QC (NFH)
• Provide on site Client Representative Service support Geophysics seismic vendor and provide overall technical assurance (Geophysical, semitic or boreold. VSP Surveys) to ensure safe field execution, acceptable state qualified and results meet/exceed the

Requirements

• Graduate/HND in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline
• Minimum of 8 years experience
• Through knowledge of oilfield equipment and inspection and maintenance requirements
