Job Title: Information System Auditor

Location: Lagos

Description

• Are you passionate about safeguarding digital infrastructure and strengthening cybersecurity systems? We're looking for a detail-oriented Information System Auditor to assess, analyze, and fortify our bank's information security practices. If you thrive on identifying vulnerabilities, conducting security audits, and driving compliance, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on banking systems and networks
• Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security breaches and protocol violations
• Assess and analyze the bank's information security systems, policies, and practices
• Execute IT audits and prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Monitor and ensure compliance with IT security principles, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Identify process gaps and provide recommendations for remedial actions and improvements
• Support the implementation of IT general controls across banking applications
• Conduct financial monitoring and technology risk assessments
• Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (BSc) or its equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Professional certification is an advantage: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CIBN
• 3-6 years cognate experience within the banking or financial services industry
• Proficiency in vulnerability management, audit execution, and IT security principles
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing abilities.
