We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project coordinator to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction and site management, with professional qualifications as an Architect, Quantity Surveyor, or Structural Engineer.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with designs, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify potential risks and implement effective solutions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality control and health & safety standards.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met
  • Manage site teams and provide leadership to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, Mechanical engineering or Electrical Engineer (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with hands-on involvement in Construction Projectmanagement.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., NIA, NIQS, NSE, COREN).
