We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Well Engineer

Role Description

• This is an on-site, full-time role based in Nigeria for a Well Engineer.
• The Well Engineer will be responsible for designing wells, preparing drilling programs, overseeing well construction activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing on-site support during drilling operations, and optimizing well performance.
• The role also involves regularly reviewing processes to improve efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications

• 8-10 Years Experience in Well Design, Drilling Operations, and Well Construction
• Competence in Technical Assurance and Compliance with Safety Standards
• Proficiency in using Software Tools for Well Simulation and Analysis
• Strong Problem-Solving, Communication, and Project Management Skills
• Understanding of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and Environmental Regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required
• Relevant certifications in drilling or well engineering would be an advantage
