Job Title: Electrical & ELV Project Engineer

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary 

• We are looking for an experienced Electrical & ELV Project Engineer to join a dynamic construction team handling large-scale projects.
• The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in Electrical and ELV systems execution, site coordination, and project management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop drawings, coordinated drawings, as-built drawings, and BOQs for Electrical & ELV systems
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of Electrical and ELV systems
• Coordinate Electrical & ELV works with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, and structural teams
• Review material submittals, vendor proposals, and technical documents
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with engineering standards
• Manage daily site activities, manpower allocation, progress monitoring, and issue resolution
• Liaise with consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals and inspections
• Support project completion through documentation, reporting, and technical guidance to technicians.

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.Eng in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5–8 years post-qualification experience
• Must have experience working on large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Electrical and ELV systems, including power, lighting, CCTV, fire alarm, BMS, access control, and structured cabling
• Ability to interpret design drawings and oversee installation and assembly of systems/equipment
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover processes
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of QA/QC, HSE standards, and project documentation is required.
