Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities and Competencies
- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and within statutory deadlines.
- Calculate and remit taxes such as VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Company Income Tax.
- Ensure the organization complies with tax regulations from authorities like Nigeria Revenue Service(NRS) and Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS).
- Maintain proper tax documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Handle tax audits and respond to tax authority queries.
- Perform tax reconciliations to ensure payments are properly recorded.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
- Support tax planning strategies to legally minimize tax liabilities
- Practical experience with tax filings (VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax) and financial audits is required.
- Experience dealing with tax authorities such as the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Lagos Internal Revenue Service (LIRS)is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of managingmultiple client engagementssimultaneously.
- Experience withtax auditsandresolutions
- Ability toreview complex tax returns and workpapersfor accuracy and technical soundness.
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related
- 3–5 years’ experience tax compliance, or accounting roles.
- Relevant professional certification (ICAN/ACCA/CITN) is required.
