Fatgbems Petroleum Company Limited is a member of Fatgbems Group, incorporated as an independent petroleum marketing company under the late founder, Alhaji Fatai Gbemisola in November 1994. The company started the Retail Station services operation with a fuel service Station in Ejigbo, Lagos in 2006. The multi-million petroleum marketing business expanded rapidly with the establishment of several other service Stations in other parts of South-Western States. We own and operate a very big tank farm that can store millions of refined Petroleum Products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of staff, goods, materials, and company assets to designated locations.
• The role involves maintaining assigned vehicles in good working condition, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, and supporting smooth organizational operations through professional driving services.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, visitors, and company materials to assigned destinations.
• Ensure punctual pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles at all times.
• Ensure vehicle documents such as licenses, insurance, and permits remain valid and up to date.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, damages, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and movement records.
• Monitor fuel usage and avoid wastage or misuse of company resources.
• Assist in loading and unloading items when necessary.
• Ensure proper care and security of goods and passengers during transit.
• Avoid unauthorized use of company vehicles.
• Support logistics and operational activities as assigned by management.
• Maintain professionalism, discipline, and courteous behavior while representing the organization.
• Ensure confidentiality of organizational movements and information.
• Respond appropriately during emergencies, breakdowns, or road incidents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 5-15 years of driving experience.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and medically sound.
• Good knowledge of routes and road networks.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
