Job Title: Inspection Manager / QA Inspector

Job Summary

• The Inspection Manager / QA Inspector is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and inspection activities within the power armour manufacturing facility to ensure all products, components, and assemblies meet approved technical specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• The role requires strong technical understanding, ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, and a disciplined approach to inspection and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection & Assurance:

• Conduct inspections on raw materials, fabricated parts, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Verify dimensions, fittings, alignments, and workmanship using approved inspection procedures and tools.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality assurance requirements.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, or deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Technical Documentation & Drawing Interpretation:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, and inspection standards.
• Ensure manufactured components conform to approved technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation accurately.

Testing & Compliance:

• Supervise functional and operational testing of products and systems where required.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
• Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Team Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate inspection activities with production, engineering, and technical teams.
• Prepare detailed quality and inspection reports for management review.
• Assist in training staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.

Health, Safety & Operational Standards:

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and operational safety procedures.
• Maintain proper handling and control of inspection equipment and technical materials.

Requirements & Qualifications

• OND/HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Assurance, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years’ relevant experience in quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, or technical operations.
• Military or paramilitary technical inspection experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and understand English technical materials and operational procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
• Good knowledge of quality assurance processes, inspection methods, and technical reporting.
• Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of discipline, integrity, and attention to detail.
