Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work days: Monday – Saturday

Job summary

  • Our client seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to oversee daily financial activities, cash handling, and cashiering operations within the apartment facility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle daily cash transactions and disbursements
  • Manage petty cash and maintain accurate records
  • Receive and process guest payments
  • Issue receipts and reconcile daily transactions
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
  • Monitor expenses and maintain proper financial documentation
  • Reconcile cash, POS, and bank transactions
  • Support invoicing and payment follow-up processes
  • Ensure accuracy and accountability in all financial operations
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-4 years relevant experience in finance, accounting, or cashiering roles
  • Strong knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in hospitality, hotels, or serviced apartments is an added advantage.
