Pool Attendant at Carlson Hotel

Carlson Hotel is a four-star hotel located inside Osborne Phase 2, Ikoyi with 22 rooms, swimming and a gym.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pool Attendant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Safety and Surveillance: Monitor the pool area to ensure guest safety, enforce rules and regulations, and respond to emergencies.
• Guest Service: Greet guests, provide clean towels, set up loungers and umbrellas, and address guest needs or complaints.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean the pool deck, remove trash, sanitize high-touch areas, and maintain orderly furniture arrangements.
• Water Safety Check: Monitor water quality by conducting routine checks and reporting any, or performing, maintenance on equipment.
• Amenity Management: Fold and distribute fresh towels, collect used towels, and manage inventory of pool supplies.
• Opening / Closing Duties: Set up umbrellas, chairs, and towels in the morning and secure the area at night.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Swimming Ability: Basic swimming skills to assist in the pool if needed.
• Certifications: Often requires or prefers CPR and First Aid certification.
• Customer Service: Friendly, welcoming, and responsive communication skills.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, lift furniture, and stand.

Salary
N70,000 / Month.
