Carlson Hotel, a four-star hotel located at Ikoyi, Lagos, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Plumber 

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Core Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Fixing sinks, showers, toilets, and pipes in guest rooms and public areas.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular checks on plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and pumps to avoid breakdowns.
• Emergency Response: Promptly addressing plumbing failures (e.g., floods, burst pipes) to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
• Drain Cleaning: Unclogging kitchen and bathroom drains to ensure proper waste removal.
• Installation: Installing new pipes, plumbing fixtures, and equipment.

Operational Duties:

• Inspections: Routinely inspecting plumbing systems for leaks, damage, and code compliance.
• System Knowledge: Monitoring water pressure, water temperatures, and sewage systems.
• Collaboration: Working with other maintenance staff to solve plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical issues.
• Documentation: Keeping records of completed work orders, maintenance logs, and materials used.

Skills and Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in using plumbing tools and reading blueprints or schematics.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor, including bending and lifting.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for quick, effective repairs.
• Guest Focus: High-quality service mindset to manage guest complaints professionally
