Job Title: Loss Adjuster

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join our team in Nigeria.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and adjusting insurance claims on behalf of our clients.
• The Loss Adjuster will work closely with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders to determine the extent of losses and ensure fair and prompt settlement of claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims to determine the extent of losses and validity of claims
• Conduct site inspections and gather evidence to support claim decisions
• Review policy terms and conditions to determine coverage and liability
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders
• Prepare detailed reports on claim investigations and findings
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Insurance and related fields)
• Professional qualification (Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIN), Loss Adjusting. In progress is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a Loss Adjuster, Insurance Claims or in a related role is important. Minimum of 3 years
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments
• Familiarity with Nigerian insurance laws and regulations.
