We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Bar Man
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
- Interact with customers in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Ensure glasses, utensils, and bar equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Process customer orders accurately and handle payments when required.
- Check customer identification where necessary and ensure responsible beverage service.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in creating new drink menus and promotions when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barman/bartender is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations.
- Smart appearance and professional attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum of SSCE qualification or equivalent preferred.
