IT System Administrator at Design Union Limited

Design Union is a real estate development group with divisions in Building design, construction, real estate development and hospitality. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT System Administrator

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Management of Information Technology Infrastructure, coordinating and supervising all activities as the first point of contact, for all Systems configuration, Installation and Maintenance (Hardware Support, Hardware Maintenance, Networking) in all Company Office facilities and Buildings.
• Management of Communication / telecommunications and Application Services (Software deployment and Support in terms of core application, operating systems, business systems implementation) in all Company Office facilities and Buildings.
• Safeguard the Company records by ensuring Data Protection through prompt Back up of data in all Company Office facilities and Buildings.
• Implementation of an Information Technology Business Continuity Plan and handling all matters relating to Emergency management and Back up operations, to facilitate continuity of business operations in the event of a disruption of operations.
• Oversee the Installation of Security Camera and maintenance in all Company Office facilities and Buildings.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• BSc (1st Class or 2nd Class) Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or any other related Social Sciences plus certification in Computer courses
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position

• Excellent Negotiating skills
• Familiarity across the IT space and administrative process
• Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment and tact
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
