Job Summary

• As an Economics Teacher you will instructstudents on microeconomic and macroeconomic principles, financial literacy, and real-world economic applications.
• They are responsible for developing curriculum, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student performance, and fostering analytical thinking, often requiring a degree in economics and relevant teaching certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Plan and deliver comprehensive lessons covering topics such as supply and demand, market structures, fiscal policy, and international trade.
• Instruction & Assessment: Deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and evaluate student progress through exams, projects, and assignments.
• Student Support: Provide academic mentoring to help students grasp complex economic theories and their practical applications.
• Classroom Management: Create a stimulating, positive learning environment that encourages high standards of achievement.
• Professional Development: Stay current with economic trends and adapt teaching methods to include technology and updated economic data.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is required, with a Master's preferred for higher-level positions.
• Certification: Valid state teaching certification or credential.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of economic concepts, modeling, and analytical techniques.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
