Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial decision-making within the organization.
• The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting management with financial analysis for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor company cash flow and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare and file tax returns and statutory financial reports.
• Assist management in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic financial insights to management.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is an added advantage.
• 8–15 years accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
