Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Mtwara Plant, Tanzania
Job Summary
- The Sales Executive is responsible for supporting revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and promoting OnePort365’s digital freight forwarding and logistics solutions.
- The role requires strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to understand customer logistics needs and provide suitable solutions.
- The Sales Executive will focus on lead generation, customer acquisition, pipeline management, and supporting the execution of the regional sales strategy while ensuring excellent customer engagement and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Identify and prospect potential customers across import, export, and cross-border trade segments.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into active customers.
- Support the achievement of assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Promote OnePort365’s digital logistics and freight forwarding solutions to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer retention.
- Understand customer shipping and logistics requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Support account management activities, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain regular engagement with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure seamless shipment execution.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and customer documentation in line with company guidelines.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and service requests promptly.
- Maintain accurate customer records, activities, and pipeline updates within the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales activity reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
- Represent OnePort365 during client meetings, presentations, and networking engagements.
- Contribute to strengthening OnePort365’s brand presence as a trusted digital logistics partner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain services.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Basic understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics services.
- Experience managing customer relationships and handling client interactions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
- Good presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
