Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Cream Category)

Location: Yola, Adamawa

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations for the Cream category within the assigned territory.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distributor relationships, expanding market coverage, and ensuring strong product visibility across retail and wholesale channels.
  • The individual must possess strong FMCG sales experience, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in territory management and sales target achievement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and market penetration for the Cream product category within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
  • Monitor stock levels, product availability, and market performance across outlets.
  • Ensure effective product merchandising, visibility, and brand presence in the market.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate sales representatives and field teams to achieve performance objectives.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence for management review.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and proper account reconciliation from distributors/customers.
  • Organize promotional activities and trade activations to increase brand awareness and sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ FMCG sales experience, preferably in personal care or cream products.
  • Proven experience managing distributors and sales territories.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage field sales teams effectively.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Salary
N600,000 monthly.
